Initiatives
VPP Steering Committee members are passionate about a variety of topics related to improving safety & health. PNNL VPP safety improvement initiatives are supported by management and capitalize on involvement and participation by staff. Each year, the VPP Steering Committee evaluates the health and maturity of PNNL safety culture and recommends improvements to management. Staff also have an opportunity to identify improvement opportunities through the Safety DiaLOG.
Current VPP Initiatives
- Human Performance Improvement: Avoid or lessen the severity of accidents and injuries by becoming aware of human error precursors.
- Safety Sleuth: Become a Safety Sleuth and catch your co-workers in the act of working safely!
- Move Safe: Learn more about move safe awareness and what PNNL VPP is doing to help staff move safely.
- Wellness: A program emphasizing health and wellness.
- Safety Topics: Provides staff with ideas for safety topics in conference rooms.
- Safety 24/7: Encourages health and safety around the clock - at work, at home, and at play.
