Health & Safety Expo
May 12 & 13, 2009
The Hanford Health and Safety Exposition is a venue to share a wealth of information, equipment, supplies and success stories in the area of safety and health. Work groups from the Hanford site share what they are doing to improve their performance in the safety and health areas. Vendors exhibit their safety and health-related products and equipment, and explain or demonstrate the proper way to use them. This is an opportunity to interact directly with vendors, observe presentations, and participate in demonstrations.
The 11th annual Health and Safety Exposition a Success
Expo 2005 was another success with attendance over 40,000 breaking last year's record of 36,000 people. The Exposition promotes the health and safety of the worker, their family and friends, and the community.
PNNL received an award for Best Safety Presentation. The booths were Electrical Safety and Bathroom Safety (Safety & Health Department), National Security, Voluntary Protection Program, and Water Conservation (Environmental Management Services Department).
