May/June VPP Steering Committee Meeting: 6/3, 2–4 pm, LSB/Mt. Rainier (1B40)

PNNL's VPP Steering Committe serves as an avenue by which employees may raise safety and health issues as well as providing a forum for worker involvement to develop, enhance, and promote continuous worker safety and health performance.

The Steering Committee provides advice and assistance to upper PNNL management including the Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (ESH&Q) Directorate, PNNL line organizations, PNNL's Hanford Atomic Metal Trades Council (HAMTC) and, upon request, to other PNNL safety committees. In addition, the Committee provides a central forum for other safety committees to discuss safety and health issues.

PNNL's VPP Steering Committee has often been called upon to mentor other external organizations interested in obtaining VPP status as well as those interested in learning more about PNNL safety and health program. The committee meets monthly and all meeting minutes are shared throughout the Laboratory.
